Introducing New Class Codes for Attune’s BOP

We are excited to bring these new class codes to you and look forward to serving your insurance needs.

We're excited to announce the expansion of our Businessowners' Policy (BOP) offerings at Attune, catering to a wider range of businesses and industries across the nation. As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive insurance solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, we are introducing new class codes to better serve your customers. 

Where Will These Codes Be Available?

Starting August 10th 2023, these new class codes will be available nationwide, offering coverage and protection for a variety of businesses. However, it's important to note that the launch will exclude the following states: California (CA), Florida (FL), Louisiana (LA), Texas (TX), New York (NY), and New Jersey (NJ).

Introducing the New Class Codes

Art Galleries (Not-for-Profit & Other Than Not-for-Profit 84112, 84113) 
  • Description of operations: Commercial marketplace for art.  May sell fine art (e.g. paintings, drawings, graphics, sculpture, porcelain, tapestries, photographs, and antiques) and/or mass-produced (but limited series) reproductions (e.g., lithographs and serigraphs). 
Convenience Food Stores With Limited Cooking Restaurant – No Gasoline Sales (09331)
  • Description of operations: Convenience stores sell perishable staples such as milk and bread and immediate need products such as aspirin or tobacco to customers who are in a hurry and want to avoid the inconvenience of larger retail stores. Convenience stores generally also stock newspapers, snacks, nonprescription drugs, novelty items, and some canned, frozen or packaged foods. Many offer deli-type foods, such as sandwiches, pizza, and beverages to go. 
Professional Instruction (No educational facilities/institutions 69987, 69986)
  • Description of Operations: Professional instruction to adults by adults such as, coding bootcamps, english as a second language programs (adult only), CPR/first aid education, etc.  
  • We are not a market for universities, colleges, afterschool programs, religious education programs, any programs where children are eligible for enrollment, daycares, or similar operations.  

As we continue to expand our BOP offering, we're dedicated to providing tailored insurance solutions; the new class codes are designed to offer coverage and protection to a wider range of industries.
