Automatic Blanket AI Endorsement for BOP

Attune’s Businessowners’ Policy will now automatically include B10 1 01 ADDITIONAL INSURED BY CONTRACT, AGREEMENT OR PERMIT to every policy sold.

You asked, our Underwriting Team listened! Attune’s Businessowners’ Policy will now automatically include B10 1 01 ADDITIONAL INSURED BY CONTRACT, AGREEMENT OR PERMIT to every policy sold. Previously, Attune included this automatically just for contractors, but we understand that including a blanket AI across all industries makes it easier to do business with our BOP product and makes your clients’ lives easier.

B10 1 01 ADDITIONAL INSURED BY CONTRACT, AGREEMENT OR PERMIT calls for additional insured status for:

  • Any person or organization with whom you agreed in a written contract, written agreement or permit to add such person or organization as an additional insured on your policy is an additional insured only with respect to liability for “bodily injury”, “property damage”, or “personal and advertising injury” caused, in whole or in part, by your acts or omissions, or the acts or omissions of those acting on your behalf, but only with respect to:
  • (1) "Your work" for the additional insured(s) designated in the contract, agreement or permit;
  • (2) Premises you own, rent, lease or occupy; or
  • (3) Your maintenance, operation or use of equipment leased to you, other than aircraft, “auto” or watercraft.

Attune will attach B10 1 01 to every new policy in the country where this form is available. If your client wishes to have the form removed, you may send the request to Customer Care.

Please note that B10 1 01 will NOT be automatically added to renewals. It may be requested on renewals should the insured want it, they just need to send the request to Care

If you wish to add other Additional Insured endorsements, you may do so in the quote flow or by contacting Customer Care.

Please read the full form for all coverage details, the above is just an excerpt and not intended to be interpreted as coverage for an insured's purpose.
