What is Stop Gap Coverage? Where is it needed?
Most workers’ compensation policies include employer’s liability insurance, the coverage that protects business owners from lawsuits filed over workplace injuries. However, workers’ compensation policies provided by the monopolistic states, North Dakota, Ohio, Wyoming, and Washington do not provide the same. Stop Gap Coverage fills this gap in the coverage and acts as an employer’s liability insurance.
